Competitive activities are an essential part of Pastry Saimaa’s operations. Through these efforts, we aim to strengthen both individual and team skills, boost professional pride, and develop a strong pastry culture in Finland on an international level.
Development through Competition
In the competitive focus of Pastry Saimaa, high-quality competition coaching is combined with organizing practice and elimination contests, as well as participating in international skills competitions in various roles. The center serves as a training ground, for example, for pâtissiers preparing for WorldSkills, EuroSkills, and Abilympics competitions, as well as for pastry chefs in the Culinary Team of Finland.
A spirit of competition fuels growth, motivates continuous practice, and connects industry experts worldwide. Additionally, we emphasize equal opportunities for students requiring special support so that everyone can experience success and recognition in their professional expertise.
