Cultural Pastry Saimaa highlights an experiential pastry culture and strengthens community spirit within the industry. We aim to bring together a “pastry family” that inspires, supports, and creates meaningful experiences.
Transcending Borders in Pastry Culture
In our cultural focus, we primarily concentrate on how the pastry sector can enrich both regional and national culture. Various trainings, joint exhibitions and events, as well as diverse media visibility, present a new generation with an understanding of what pastry art can be at its best.
Fostering a sense of camaraderie and a strong “pastry family” provides a solid foundation for the industry, while simultaneously encouraging international growth and peer learning. In this way, pastry culture originating from South Karelia can shine throughout Finland and beyond.
