Pastry Saimaa, which is a part of Saimaa Vocational College Sampo, is a globally oriented pastry arts center of excellence taking shape in South Karelia, Finland. We bring together students, instructors, professionals, and entrepreneurs – from both Finland and abroad – to advance the field. We focus on high-caliber training, competition coaching, product development workshops, and extensive collaborative networks.
Pastry Saimaa is a place where seasoned experts and the next generation of talent can learn side by side. International instructors introduce fresh insights from diverse cultures, while local ingredients reinforce Finland’s culinary heritage. Our aim is to position food tourism and pastry culture in South Karelia at the forefront nationwide, providing an easily accessible hub for networking, innovation, and international student exchange.

We support learning pathways and competition participation also for young people who require special assistance.
